This website was once the most important thing in my life. I spent endless hours in my journal, crafting what became the posts that you now read here. Most nights out of the many saw me sitting with my thoughts, my feelings, trying to find a way to make them sound pretty, or painstakingly pull them apart to examine the grotesque. But in recent months I’ve seemed to lose all hope of regaining the passion for the art of writing that I once clung to as though a life raft. I imagine this can be attributed to the brutal reality of attempting to maintain stability in an incredibly hostile economy. Or perhaps I’m not the writer I considered myself to be. Either way, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s time to shutter the Somewhere, Nowhere project and move on. Still, a part of me will always live here, a small website with a few readers, where we found Somewhere, Nowhere. Thank you for all of it. ♡
