I hope this spurs you on to your next creative project, whatever that may be. But do not sell yourself and your writing short. Everything is the result of causes and conditions and if you haven't been able to enter the writing space recently, it is because that hasn't been fed, which is very easy to happen in the society and culture that values materialism so much it wants you to work yourself to death just to survive. If you ever want to talk writing, let me know. I've struggled with getting back to that passion many times, but if it's really there you'll find a way. I recently experimented with full days where I never turn on my phone or computer or device of any sort. At first my brain panics, then it starts to breath, then the creative side of things start to blossom again. Tech is destroying our ability to think expansively. Whatever you do, find joy wherever you can, even in small dribbles, and keep going. The fire is still inside somewhere.

Thank you for this, truly. I know that I'll always love writing and I'll never stop trying to find a way to regain the joy for it that I once had, but this most recent bout of dispassion has felt insurmountable. I'd love to talk more about it with you as I know I have much to learn about finding that again. I wonder if you'd like to communicate via email? Let me know. Talk soon! :)
